Have you ever noticed that our human mind tends to jump into worst case scenarios, time-travel to negative experiences, and sees the neighbor’s grass greener than our own?
We’ve all been programmed to compare ourselves with each other because that’s what we see everywhere in society and the media. But what if we tried to break the mold and be different by starting to look within more often rather than getting lost in the outer world and its infinite distractions?
When we practice this, we start reprogramming our minds to go from comparison to empathy and admiration; that’s when start finding solutions to our problems instead of making them bigger by the minute.
When we use empathy, we become magnets for gratitude towards our problems and struggles. When we understand that whatever we are going through IS what another person wishes to BE even close to experience, then we realize we’re living our best life.
